Cooks Creek Manitoba Engagement Photos Alia and Markian
Alia and Markian are passionate about their Ukrainian culture so I had some ideas and suggested Cooks Creek as their location for their engagement photos. They fell in love with the idea.
We started our session at Cooks Creek Immaculate Conception Church grounds and around the grotto. This impressive cathedral-style church with dynamic forms and colours of Ukrainian Baroque churches coupled with a wealth of other architectural motifs and elements made a perfect canvas.
I wanted to take Alia and Markian to canola fields for further engagement photos but since canola finished flowering I had to find other unique alternatives. As a result we made our way to Birds Hill Park and stopped in prairie grassland area. After taking few photos in the field it was time for something unique. Alia and Markian are hockey fans so we had to include a little bit of fun with them in their jerseys. However there was a little twist. See the photos below 🙂
As the sun started to set, we made our way to the beach for some evening shots. The beautiful prairie sky was just perfect to end a wonderful session together.
Alia and Markian were naturals in front of the camera making each other laugh and smile. They’re full of love and have a beautiful connection that shows in every image taken that day!
